If you want to experience what BASE jumping is all about and see why Base jumpers do what they do, Sean Chuma is the man to seek. Normally a person would have to spend years training for BASE. The standard prerequisite is 200 Skydives before taking a base jumping course. But with Tandem Base, anyone, with no parachute experience, can get a taste of BASE Jumping.

The company went through an intense experimental phase to research and develop the new sport. With 2,000 skydives and 3,000 BASE Jumps to his credit, Sean has owned and operated the company on his own since 2011, bringing it to new heights. And in this time he has done over 320 tandem jumps all over the world. Not a small number if you ask.

But for Sean it's not only about the adrenaline rush. He has devoted his life and sport to inspire and help others. Working on a new program to help people with spinal cord injuries to be able to take part in the sport of Tandem Base Jumping, this April 18-19, Sean will be taking Pete Bonser, a quadriplegic, on a Tandem jump from the Perrine Bridge. "This is a huge undertaking," Sean says. Pete has a dream to jump again and Sean has a vision to offer positive experiences to those who are injured or dying. “I feel that if i give a person a dream, they can take the experience and build more positivity off of it. With the right focus and energy miraculous things can happen," Sean adds.
