Above the Poconos Skydivers - Skydiving Enthusiasts since 1961
The Pocono Mountains, located in northeastern Pennsylvania, United States, is recognized as one of the most scenic areas full of wooded hills and valleys. Right there, in the foothills of the Pocono Mountains, is located the oldest continuously running, same management, USPA member skydiving center in the world. Adrex.com brings you Above the Poconos Skydivers - serving the New York, NJ and Pennsylvania skydiving community since 1961.

The Northeast Pennsylvania skydiving center is run by Don Kellner, a pioneer of the sport and the man who holds the Guinness World Record for the most sport parachute jumps. He currently has over 41,000 jumps!!! In comparison with the main skydiving instructors of Above the Poconos Skydivers who have a combined total of over 60,000 skydives, this is an amazing number.

Whether you take your first tandem skydive, solo jump, want to become a better or licensed skydiver or simply want to enjoy beautiful views above the Poconoco Mountains after having jumped out of a  Super Cessna 185 or a Super Cessna 210/5, Poconos main jump aircrafts, this northeastern DZ might be the place.

In an era of bigger is better approach, Don and his partner, chief pilot Dave Price, have made a conscientious business decision to keep the dropzone small, safe, and personable. All Above the Poconos skydiving instructors work for a living at normal jobs, so just like every other skydiver, they are looking forward to skydiving rather than it being work. What can be better than your instructors enjoying and sharing the thrill of the sport with you.
